Cosa ti aspetti maggiormente? "Solo essere in quella parte del mondo ed incontrare tutte quelle persone. L'inglese non è la loro lingua madre e questo mi fa strano. Voglio dire, loro guardano la serie in francese. E questo è davvero affascinante, e non vedo l'ora."
Sei doppiata nella versione francese della serie? "Penso proprio di si. Ho visto su YouTube un paio di video, scene con Jeremy e Anna in tedesco. Quindi, qui immagino che io sia doppiata in francese, che è pazzesco. Le voci non suonano per niente simile a noi. Ma ciò che conta è il materiale proposto nella serie."

Sempre su questa linea, quale altri personaggi vorresti vedere risorti? "In realtà vorrei far risorgere Jenna perché è stato così triste.. Cos'è successo quando sei tornata sul set? Avete festeggiato? "Tutto era molto segreto riguardo quella scena. Quando il mio manager mi chiamò mi disse di non dirlo a nessuno. Così non ho informato nemmeno i famigliari e gli amici più stretti. Erano così arrabbiati quando lo hanno scoperto perché io lo sapevo da settimane e non ne avevo fatto parola con nessuno. Quella in realtà è stata l'ultima scena della serie.
Non ho avuto modo di vedere nessuno. Ho avuto modo di vedere Nina e Kat per due secondi e poi Steven, ovviamente. Ma fino all'ultimo tutti hanno conservato il segreto. Ero così sorpresa di non poter uscire e farmi vedere ma alla fine il colpo di scena è stato molto efficace."
Hai avuto modo di baciare Steven R. McQueen. Com'è stato? "[ride] Com'è stato baciare Steven?.. Beh, io e Steven ci conoscevamo già prima di trovarci nella serie e quando venne a sapere che ero io, il primo giorno che mi presentai sul set, è stato fantastico. E da subito abbiamo legato e ci siamo avvicinati.
Voglio dire, la gente si spaventerebbe a vedere noi due girare una scena assieme perché sarebbe costantemente scherzi e risatine.. Quindi baciare lui.. è stato naturale. Voglio dire, ero molto a mio agio con lui e non è stata una cosa imbarazzante. E' un bravo baciatore, ragazze! Ed è molto affascinante. Quindi non è poi così difficile interagire con la sua faccia."

Prima di partecipare alla Convention di Nimes, in Francia, Malese Jow ha fatto quattro chiacchiere con Wetpaint e l'attrice, che in TVD interpreta Anna, ha parlato di come andranno le cose a Mystic Falls dopo il ritorno di Anna e Vicki, quali personaggi vorrebbe che riportassero in vita dal regno dei morti e di com'è stato baciare il bel Steven R. McQueen.
Stai per andare a Nimes in Francia. "Si, con parte del cast. Ci sarà da divertirsi. Non vedo l'ora di vedere quella parte del mondo. E' strano pensare che la gente sappia chi sono e conosca la serie. Voglio dire, quando si è qui in America sembra di stare in una piccola bolla. Ma voglio dire.. è veramente una cosa a livello mondiale. E ci sono dei fanatici che non vedo l'ora di incontrare."
Resterai a Nimes o viaggerai lì nei paraggi?"Penso che starò lì per il weekend. Vado lì un pò prima per via del fuso orario perchè non ho provato niente di simile prima; Devo abituarmi.. ed ho intenzione di stare lì tutto il fine settimana. Il programma è già fissato ed è tutto abbastanza concentrato ma in maniera buona. Intendo, dovrò incontrare tutti e andrà alla grande."
Cosa ti aspetti maggiormente? "Solo essere in quella parte del mondo ed incontrare tutte quelle persone. L'inglese non è la loro lingua madre e questo mi fa strano. Voglio dire, loro guardano la serie in francese. E questo è davvero affascinante, e non vedo l'ora."
Sei doppiata nella versione francese della serie? "Penso proprio di si. Ho visto su YouTube un paio di video, scene con Jeremy e Anna in tedesco. Quindi, qui immagino che io sia doppiata in francese, che è pazzesco. Le voci non suonano per niente simile a noi. Ma ciò che conta è il materiale proposto nella serie."
Dovrebbe essere un esperienza alquanto strana.. "Si. E' veramente strano! Voglio dire, penso che la mia voce, quella che ho sentito, suoni molto femminile."
Cosa metterai in valigia? "Le cose essenziali, scarpe con i tacchi e roba elegante. Sto impacchettando le mie cose migliori. E' molto eccitante per me. E' una specie di momento monumentale della mia vita, veramente.. La serie mi ha fornito una parte del tutto nuova della mia vita e mi dà la possibilità di visitare altre parti del mondo e non vorrei arrivare lì in altro modo."
Kayla Ewell pensa che i vostri personaggi siano degli angeli. Sei d'accordo? "Ho sentito le previsioni di tutti e sai, ne ho un paio anch'io, perchè non ho sentito nulla di definito da qualcuno di The Vampire Diaries. Quindi, tutto questo è speculazione. E se fosse un angelo/spirito, penso sarebbe un grande nuovo aspetto della serie.
Voglio dire, penso che abbiano rappresentato sia i vampiri che i licantropi in un modo molto convincente. E penso che se questa sarà la nuova parte della serie, dovrebbe essere veramente inquietante e dovrebbero incorporarla bene. Quindi, sarebbe grandioso. E c'è sempre l'opzione che noi potremmo risuscitare per davvero. Quindi voglio dire, staremo a vedere cosa accadrà e in che misura noi faremo parte della serie. E' davvero emozionante."
Sai già quando dovrai tornare ad Atlanta? "No, ancora una volta non ne ho idea! Lo saprò all'ultimo minuto, al volo. Bisogna essere pronti a tutto. Durante la prima stagione, per il mio ruolo ricorrente, il giorno prima scoprivo che dovevo essere su un aereo il giorno dopo. E' così che la serie funziona, ti tiene sempre sulle spine. E penso sia questo il motivo per cui funzioni veramente bene, perché non si sa mai troppo."
Secondo te, perché Anna e Vicki son tornate? "Oh mio Dio.. non so. Cerco di non pensarci troppo perché solitamente sbaglio e di molto. Sto cercando di lasciar decidere a loro la direzione della serie, senza che io esca con troppe idee di mio. Spero comunque, che Anna continui ad essere un personaggio amorevole. Spero non si sia voltata al lato cattivo; Perchè, sai, è per questo che lei è conosciuta. Era forte e minacciava per un motivo; e quello che ha fatto, l'ha fatto per amore."
E' interessante il fatto che Anna e Vicki siano due personaggi talmente diversi ma entrambi son tornati. "Esattamente. Non vedo l'ora di vedere se rimarranno insieme per la maggior parte di tutto questo. Io non ne sono proprio sicura, perchè siamo opposte. Abbiamo sofferto la stessa sorte eabbiamo avuto entrambe quella specie di rapporto con Jeremy, ma a parte questo.. Vicki ha iniziato da mortale mentre Anna ha vissuto centinaia di anni come i fratelli Salvatore e Katherine. Quindi sono molto curiosa di vedere come svilupperanno la cosa.
Tengo le dita incrociate per qualche flashback in più perché ci sono un sacco di questioni che io stessa e i telespettatori vorremo vedere. Ci sono molte cose che non conosciamo di Anna, e credo che sarebbe interessante vederle."
Sempre su questa linea, quale altri personaggi vorresti vedere risorti? "In realtà vorrei far risorgere Jenna perché è stato così triste.. [Jeremy ed Elena] Hanno bisogno di qualcuno di materno, una persona di famiglia. O Kelly; Come persona l'adoro e lavorare con lei è stato assolutamente fantastico. Mi piaceva il fatto che lei interpretasse mia madre. Ma si, penso sicuramente che la morte di Jenna sia stata una tra le più tristi. Non riesco ad immaginare come si siano sentiti sul set."
Com'era il tuo stato d'animo quando hai scoperto che Anna stava per essere uccisa?"Quella settimana il mio stato d'animo continuava a scendere. E tutti mi confortavano venendo da me individualmente, solo per dirmi quanto grandiosa ero. Ed io.. 'grazie ragazzi, ma sapete, questo è il lavoro'. E sai, bisogna andare avanti perché è veramente solo un lavoro. Ed ero così grata a loro per avermi dato un arco di episodi nella serie. Ero stupita di come Anna era diventata. Il fatto che ora io e Kayla siamo tornate, è un tale onore e non vedo l'ora di vedere come proseguirà la nostra storyline."

This is all we know, thanks to the end of the second season - and it is everything that Jeremy knows when TVD will return September 15 with the third season. "We'll see Jeremy tries to figure out what they want, or try to understand what they are," revealed producer Julie Plec.Plec adds that Jeremy will not tell anyone what is happening and this will lead to Elena and others to wonder what is happening, as you notice a strange behavior. It will be drugged? No, and Julie Plec says laughing: "He's just trying to figure out why the hell his ex-girlfriends death haunt him." Kayla Ewell said recently that Vicki is back for revenge, while Julie Plec anticipates the possibility of more than a return of dead characters: "We're having a lot with Vicki and Anna begin to unravel the secrets that have pushed back, explain what they want, and who else has access from the underworld.
